Sandwell Community School is Sandwell’s dedicated provision for pupils living within the borough who are either at risk of permanent exclusion or who have been permanently excluded from their secondary school. Our school has five specialist campuses across the borough and also a pupil engagement team to assist in reaching our most vulnerable pupils.
In partnership with schools, parents, carers and the wider community, Sandwell Community School is committed to providing an appropriate, individualised education for students at Key Stage 3 and 4.
We aim to create learning environments that are innovative and impact on our pupils lives. We strive to do this by offering a curriculum suitable to pupil needs.
We want to inspire every young person to acquire the knowledge, skills and experience necessary for their adult lives, both inside and outside the traditional classroom environment. Developing their self-esteem, confidence and resiliency are also high on our agenda.
Academic programmes, vocational learning opportunities and enrichment activities are central to our curriculum offer.
We want to see our young people grow into caring, responsible and active members of their local community and wider society.
