E-Safety is an incredibly important aspect of 21st century life. It remains high on our agenda and both staff and pupils at SCS are expected to sign an Acceptable Use Policy on induction. Pupils need to be aware of how they can keep themselves safe in the online world.
Responsible use is encouraged in all subject areas and E-safety is covered in ICT and PSHE lessons and also in Assembly. Our pupils are encouraged to report breeches in E-Safety and are taught how to keep themselves safe online. E-Safety is seen as EVERYONE'S responsibility.
You can report any incident anonymously using our Contact Us page. The school will take any report seriously and will investigate thoroughly.
There are a number of different websites that offer guidance to students, parents and staff on the topic of e-safety:
- Think u Know (Parent page)
- Think u Know (11-16 page)
- Child Net
- Safety Net Kids
- Child Exploitation and Online Protection
- NSPCC and O2
